In a run down shack on the edge of town a rather unlikable man with only the dead for company lives a bizarre but quiet existence. Without warning, his true love is snatched away by a giant hand breaking down his wall. With only his trusty shovel, his wits, and sparkling personality, it's up to Goot Vanderboot to put a stop to this villainy and uncover the source of his misfortune. But then he fights a crab with a magic brick and a tub of butter and it all goes wrong from there.
